How to Re-Integrate Google Calendar for a User

This article guides you through re-integrating your Google Calendar with Adaptive AI to resolve sync issues and restore calendar functionality.

IMPORTANT: You cannot use the "login as" feature since connecting a Google account needs to be done

by the user who owns that Google account.

What is Google Calendar Re-Integration?

If your Google account is connected but syncing still fails, check Settings → Integrations → Google for a missing-permissions warning. Use Reconnect to re-run Google OAuth and grant any missing permissions.

After you reconnect, Adaptive AI automatically syncs any unsynced upcoming appointments** that were created while the integration was disconnected. You do not need to manually edit appointments to trigger syncing.

Steps to Re-Integrate a Google Calendar

Step 1: Delete the Google Calendar

You can delete a connected Google Calendar from two sections.

  1. 1From the My Profile section:

Click on Settings from your sub-account. Select the My Profile Option and navigate to Calendar Settings and click on the Bin/Delete icon of the connected Google Account.

Check the a cknowledgement box from the pop-up and click on Confirm.

Step 2: Re-Integrate Google Calendar

Similarly, you can reconnect the Google Calendar from the same two sections as specified above, the My Profile Section and the Calendar Connections Section.

Please Note: After you complete the reintegration process, test your Google Calendar to ensure the syncing process works as expected. If you are still experiencing issues after testing, please contact Customer Support for further assistance.

Q: Do I need to remove the old integration before reconnecting? Yes, it's recommended to disconnect the current Google Calendar integration before reconnecting to avoid sync conflicts.

Q: Will I lose any appointments if I disconnect the calendar? No, disconnecting and reconnecting does not delete past or upcoming appointments already synced into the system.

Q: How do I know the calendar is successfully re-integrated? Once reconnected, you should see the calendar listed with active sync status. You can test by creating a test appointment and verifying it appears on both ends.

Q: Can I re-integrate using a different Google account? Yes. After disconnecting the original account, you can use a different Google login during re-integration. Just make sure it's the correct one for your calendar events.

Q: Can I connect multiple calendars to the same user? Yes, you can add multiple calendars but one you can have only one primary calendar.
